RESIDENTIAL HABILITATION (COMMUNITY HOMES)
KVOU provides Residential Habilitation services in licensed community homes for individuals with intellectual disabilities. These homes offer a safe, supportive, and community-based living environment where individuals receive individualized supports based on their needs, preferences, and goals.
Residential Habilitation services support individuals in acquiring, retaining, and improving skills related to self-help, daily living, communication, socialization, and community participation as identified in the Individual Support Plan (ISP). Supports are delivered in a manner that promotes health and safety, dignity, independence, and meaningful participation in community life. Services are provided in accordance with Pennsylvania Title 55 regulations, including Chapters 6100 and 6400, and are authorized through ODP waivers.

IN‑HOME AND COMMUNITY SUPPORT
KVOU provides In‑Home and Community Support services to assist individuals with intellectual disabilities to live successfully in their own homes and actively participate in their communities. These services are individualized and flexible, supporting each person’s goals, preferences, and daily routines.
In‑Home and Community Support services focus on assisting individuals in acquiring, retaining, and improving skills related to daily living, communication, socialization, and community participation as outlined in the Individual Support Plan (ISP). Supports may be provided in the individual’s private residence and throughout the community and are designed to promote independence, self-direction, and meaningful engagement while ensuring health and safety. Services are authorized through ODP waivers and delivered in accordance with Pennsylvania Title 55, Chapter 6100 regulations.
Who This Service Is For
In‑Home and Community Support is for individuals who live with family, independently, or in their own residence and benefit from support with daily activities, skill development, or community involvement.

SUPPORTED LIVING
KVOU provides Supported Living services to assist individuals with intellectual disabilities to live in their own homes while receiving the individualized supports they need to remain safe, independent, and engaged in their communities. Supports are tailored to each individual’s preferences, strengths, and goals and emphasize personal choice and self-direction.
Supported Living services focus on assisting individuals in acquiring, retaining, and improving skills related to daily living, household management, personal wellness, decision-making, and community integration as identified in the Individual Support Plan (ISP). Services are designed to promote independence while providing the level of support necessary to ensure health, safety, and meaningful participation in everyday life. Supported Living services are authorized through ODP waivers and delivered in accordance with Pennsylvania Title 55, Chapter 6100 regulations.

Supported Living is for individuals who live in their own home or apartment and want to maintain or increase independence while receiving individualized support based on their needs and goals.
