Licensed Community Homes

KVOU provides five community homes in the Kiski Valley area of Armstrong and Westmoreland Counties for individuals with intellectual disabilities under Title 55, Chapter 6400 and 6100 regulations. These licensed homes meet all regulatory requirements and support individuals in acquiring, retaining, and improving self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills in a safe, community-based setting. Homes cannot be booked online. To learn more about openings and eligibility, please contact our office directly.

In-Home & Community Supports (PFDS)

KVOU is a qualified PFDS provider offering In-Home & Community Supports to individuals with developmental disabilities who live independently in the local community. This service is available in a person’s own home or in other community settings that are not subject to licensing regulations. Our staff assist individuals in acquiring, retaining, and improving self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills so they can continue living as independently as possible in their community. Services cannot be booked online. To discuss support options, please contact our office.
